Independent research · transparent methods · understandable findings

Palestine Polling Center

We measure people’s views and experiences and turn data into clear research findings that help institutions and the public understand conditions and make better decisions.

What the Center provides

The Center provides integrated research services—from defining the question and designing the methodology to data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and communication. Each project is designed for its purpose, population, and context rather than forced into a single template.

Public-opinion polling

Measure attitudes, priorities, experiences, trust, and expectations through disclosed samples, questions, and procedures.

Social and economic research

Examine household conditions, services, needs, livelihoods, economic behavior, and differences among population groups.

Humanitarian and development research

Assess needs, monitor programs, support learning, and interpret results in conflict, displacement, recovery, and development settings.

Market and consumer research

Understand demand, customer behavior, brand perceptions, satisfaction, and market- or business-related opportunities.

Data collection and fieldwork

Manage enumerators, instruments, samples, supervision, quality controls, and participant protection.

Analysis and reporting

Clean, weight, analyze, visualize, and report data through tables, charts, briefs, reports, and dashboards.

Why the Center

  • Professional and methodological independence in study design and analysis.
  • Clear disclosure of scope, sample, fieldwork dates, and limitations.
  • Participant protection and collection of only necessary personal information.
  • A clear distinction between research findings and the positions of commissioners or partners.
  • Bilingual presentation where appropriate, preserving meaning rather than relying on literal translation.
  • Commitment to correction and disclosure of material revisions.

Research and publications

The research library will contain reports, briefs, tables, visualizations, and methodology notes approved for publication. Empty or promotional pages are not presented as research outputs; each publication identifies its status, date, methodology, and available files.

No public research outputs have yet been released through this launch version. Publications will appear after formal approval.

Data and research results

The Data section will provide public datasets, codebooks, questionnaires, tables, indicators, and dashboards when available. Some files may require an access request or data-use agreement to protect participants and associated rights.

Methodology and independence

Research quality is not measured by page count or publication speed. It depends on the question, sample, instrument, implementation, analysis, and disclosure. The Methodology section explains quality assurance, ethics, privacy, independence, publication, correction, and responsible digital and AI use.

Review Methodology and Research Standards

Work with the Center

Public, civil-society, academic, international, and commercial organizations may commission polling, research, evaluation, market studies, data analysis, or training. The commissioning organization defines its needs and research questions; findings and analysis remain governed by the data, methodology, and professional standards.

A partnership or contractual relationship does not constitute endorsement of an organization’s positions, policies, or activities.

Commission Research

Who the Center serves

Public institutions

Polls and studies supporting understanding of needs, services, trust, and participation, without treating a contractual relationship as endorsement.

Civil and international organizations

Needs assessments, evaluations, program research, and analysis supporting planning, learning, and accountability.

Universities and researchers

Designs, instruments, data, and methodological materials supporting academic research and responsible collaboration.

Private sector

Market, consumer, and business-related research while findings remain governed by data and methodology.

Media and the public

Findings, summaries, and explanations helping readers interpret polls and data in context.

Communities and participants

Clear channels for consent, questions, withdrawal, complaints, and data protection.

Core operating principles

  • Independent and politically non-aligned; findings are not adjusted to satisfy a party.
  • Methods are selected for the question, context, and access conditions rather than forced into a fixed template.
  • Participants are protected, personal data are minimized, and access is restricted.
  • Design, instruments, samples, fieldwork, analysis, and versions are documented.
  • Material limitations, changes, the commissioner, and its role are disclosed.
  • Errors affecting understanding or use are corrected transparently.

Launch-stage Website status

The Website launches with a complete institutional and research structure. Research publications, datasets, and dashboards are added only after approval for release. The Center does not invent projects, results, partnerships, or capacity to populate empty sections; unavailable sections display an accurate launch-stage status.
